Doing His Own Thing - Chance The Rapper Drops Two New Tracks

Chance continues to drop singles as he pleases, and his fans have no complaints about it. With two new tracks “The Man Who Has Everything” and “My Own Thing (Ft. Joey Purp)", it's clear to us that Chance The Rapper has been busy in the years since his record-breaking album “Coloring Book”.

The first track is an apparent question he is asked by his Father, in which the answer is a mesmerizing repetition of “Love me forever, that’s all I ask of you”. The second track is a higher-sounding, piano-backed tune that seems to confirm what we already know; Chance is going to do what he wants. This track seems to respond to the constant speculation and anticipation of his newest album, but the rapper seems to be perfectly comfortable letting his phone “ring ring ring” off the hook, unanswered.
